When YOYO returned from the UK, he was at a crossroads – uncertain of his path and living off savings. A visit to his regular barber shop changed everything. Watching the barber teach haircutting sparked a realization: hairdressing was a skill that could travel anywhere. YOYO began training under that very barber, offering free haircuts in people’s homes after long workdays, asking only for feedback in return. His passion for learning led him to train under Vipul Chudasama in 2019, followed by advanced education with Mounir in Dubai, where he mastered colour theory and precision techniques. A breakthrough came when he earned a spot at a world-renowned salon – marking the beginning of his transformation from local artist to industry leader. Today, HAIR RAP BY YOYO has delivered over 45,000 services to 9,000+ clients worldwide, from India to the USA, UK, and beyond. With a team of 75+ professionals and an ecosystem that includes SALONWALA, Trendsetter Academy, and more, the brand is redefining modern beauty.
